Which
also happens to be the shiny new office assigned to me!
For
those that may not have heard, I've made the move from my corporate
job of 9 years and took a first officer position with
a major Air Line. I
won't mention any names but let's just say, "I'm all about the
widget!" Anyway, I bid my assignment and it's the 767
International out of JFK! What a sweet deal right out of the gate!
Training took a couple months
but, despite my best efforts, they still gave me a Boeing 757/767
type rating! So, you'll have to look for
the Cyber Kid on the line early
this summer!
Hello friends! Well the 4th Quar. of 2007 was big, but the Cyber Kid had an
even bigger 1st Quarter of 2008 with the offer of a new Air Line job!
Subsequently, training has taken a huge portion of the Cyber Kid's time
lately but alas, we're back with updates and new content, news, etc.
Starting Indoc. training on March 17th (St. Patrick's Day) and
completing the Flight training and 757/767 Type Rating on May 11th
(Mother's Day) it's been a hectic with the training schedule and all of
the new information. We'll of course keep you posted as the Cyber
Kid hits the flying line, which should be shortly after this news goes
live!
Outside the new career news, the newest member of the FUBAR Clan,
Jessica the "Little Rabbit," continues to grow and with the
continued tutelage from her older brother, FUBAR Future Hall-of-Famer
Alex "Little Dude" she's nearly crawling and getting into trouble
already!?... The FUBARHQ has been in a constant state of lock-down
since the "Little Rabbit" has gone mobile. Even though the Cyber
Kid has been busy, there was still "some" time to hang with the Little
Dude and attend another professional Hockey extravaganza! -

In addition to the hockey, the Cyber kid also was able to "geek" out
prior to flight training at the local Model Train Show. Little dude, of
course, was in attendance and loved all the different trains and
displays!...

Other news in DARTH M land is the beginning of the new strategy game -
The Sun Never Sets (TSNS) - Created, Designed and Refereed by the Cyber Kid
himself; TSNS is a monthly PBEM (Play-By-Email) strategy game. A
cross between RISK (strategy, map), DIPLOMACY (player interaction) and
Dungeons & Dragons (open-ended, versatile game play) TSNS is an entirely
new gaming.creatuve endeavor by the Cyber Kid. Be sure to check

page.
So, Aside from the pictures and TSNS news above, the Cyber Kid has
basically been spending lots of "quality" time with Boeing 757/767
manuals; totally immersed for the last two months in Boeing engineering,
culture and philosophy! So, aside from all the fun above, it's
been all about the "Heavy Metal." So, anyway, that's all
I got this quarter (and a half!?) for you. Again, still somewhere
on one of the back burners - The Cheeky story IS coming at some point in
the future?!
