So, first quarter '05,
Hello gang, all is well here at the FHQ. "Little Dude" is
walking, so it's only a matter of time before we get a glove on him, teach
him to swing and he's batting .750 with 23 RBI's like his old man!?
("Dave you suck!"... "Hey! Shut up Roth you worthless
rag-arm!") Sorry about that - rascals?... Anyway, where
was I? Oh, that's right, talking about greatness. So the
little dude is into everything and as such, driving his mother
mental. Not bothering me, as frankly, and as Dawn like's to say,
"I'm a useless slacker!" (What did she call me?)
But I digress... "AJ
Sighting" Was big in the FNC community this past quarter.
The rare and thought to be extinct AJ has resurfaced in the Central Texas
area and is running rampant among us - Beware! ("You still
suck Dave!" ... "Dammit Roth. That's it, you're
uninvited to the next FUBAR B-B-Q and drunken orgy!" ... "I
was just kidding!" ... "Too late! You're out!"

Other than that, began chasing NSBF/NASA balloons again, so I get to do
some fun stuff for a little bit. (This picture is in Antarctica, but you get the
gist - big stuff - 500'W X800'H when at 120,000 ft. altitude.)
So
anyway, For now I get to hang out with the
little FUBAR, who's not as "floppy" as he was at two months old,
continuing to work on his ability to dive for a line-drive, drive through
the ball, and keep the score cards (Oh wait, that's Engel that needs that!
:o) Dawn is of course overtired, but managing nicely in the parent
dept. exercising extreme caution with the little dude - She mentioned
to Mark the "I don't believe in god, god-father" Avellino that if he
ever inherits the little guy, she would appreciate it if he does NOT remove
the layer of cotton wool he is currently wrapped in! However, he is a
bit of daredevil (Alex that is.) and likes being tossed in the air
(Just make sure you have the gear down when you land pal!)
I
had lots of time to work in New Mexico to build my character FUBARHQ
in America's
Army, currently working on a second one, BRONX-BOMBER.
Nothing new on the screenplays SKY HUNTERS and KNIGHTS
IN WHITE SATIN as well as the novel RULE OF THIRDS. I have put
the most current edit of the Prologue and Chapters 1,2, and
3 below as a download. Remember, you
