So, what a busy 3rd Quarter of '08
for the Cyber Kid. - Finishing up the domestic portion of training,
I had a nice five week (paid) break in training while Check Airman
became available to train the International segments. A couple
trips across the pond later and yours truly was signed off as an
international line pilot!
So, enjoying the fruits of international
“reserve” pilot travel, I've been able to see the following overseas
destinations – Milan, Rome, Cairo, London (Heathrow & Gatwick),
Nice and recently Madrid, to name but a
“few.”

In addition to the cool destinations overseas,
I was also able to spend a day or two in NYC, the Big Apple,
catching up with some friends – Touring about Times Square, Ground
Zero, Central Park, The American Museum of Natural History, Joe's
Pizza, Big Nick's Pizza Joint, Katz's Deli and of course the Blind
Tiger in the village for a few BevERageS. In attendance was Dave
“The Cyber Kid”, FUBAR Super-Fan Andrea V., Cyrus H. and the ever
improvising Jeff “MacGuyver” Sturges and his lovely wife Marsha -
Good times.

In our hometown news,
The Cyber Kid and lovely wife (Dawn for you
playing at home) celebrated the 1 year anniversary of “Thing
2!” Little Jessica "Rabbit"
turned 1 last month and there was much hoopla and fanfare
with many of the regular FUBAR Clan in attendance for the event.
On the cusp of bipedal-ism, Jessica is getting more and more mobile
by the day -

Hey! Want some
cake, got lots!?... |
Cool, I think I'll
just finger paint with the leftovers!?... |
As well as Jess's continued
"growth:", the Cyber Kid and Little Dude were able to
squeeze a Yankee game in during all the
chaos. Little dude was very excited about the game and thoroughly
enjoyed the Yankee victory (well Daddy surely
did, although it may
be a little too late for the 2008 Wild
Card? Let's hope for a late season drive!?...)

Always a packed house

Anyway, other than
the career news, family festivities and events,
I've been continually busy this
quarter getting further acquainted with the Boeing 767 and
International traveling/procedures -
“Living the Dream!” and all that jazz.
Anyway, in the meantime and until I have
more to tell you, go enjoy the new pictures in the ALEX and
JESSICA galleries, all the new pics in the MY AVIATION ADVENTURES
gallery and the new news and content -
